They never responded to my email regarding discrimination leaving GF customers out of their special.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

First of all, I love Papa Murphy's pizza. I have a gluten sensitivity so I have to purchase your GF pizza.

As you know, it only comes in a medium size. The price of your specialty GF pizza is basically $21. That is very expensive for many of our budgets. Thus, I rarely am able to afford it.

This past weekend you had your fabulous BOGO deal which I have been able to use in the past.

I order several. Then, freeze them. However, yesterday, my order was rejected. I called my local store in Buffalo, MN.

I was told the sale was only for large or family size pizza. I was very disheartened.

We GF people can't control the size of the GF pizza you make, medium size only.

That being said, I feel that we should be eligable for your great BOGO offers as we were in the past.

I would appreciate a coupon/certificate allowing me to purchase 4 GF pizza with your BOGO offer from this past weekend. It would speak volumes for Papa Murphy's sensitivity and integrity to provide its customer equal opportunity and service.

Thank you.

Rude Employee

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Original review updated Apr 11, 2025

Hey, I went to the Papa Murphy's in Grafton, Wisconsin. The only employee that was working, not sure if it was the manager or not, was extremely rude towards me.

When I tried to order pizza, he said, 'You clearly see I am busy and I got 6 orders ahead of you.' I told him he was really rude and that there was no need for the attitude, and I called him an *** I asked him what time frame it would be before I could order my pizza, and he said no and told me not to order online either. I will be telling my family and friends to never come to that location again, and I will not be returning there either!

Worst experience I ever had when I went there! The workers body language, tone, and nasty words was just ridiculous and unacceptable!

Preferred solution: gift cards or compensation because I couldn't even order my pizzas.

User's recommendation: Stand your ground and don't let any employee talk too you in any kind of way!

NO ONE WAS WALKING OVER YOU. THEY SIMPLY WANTED YOU TO WAIT YOUR TURN AND NOT CUT IN LINE AND GET YOUR FOOD BEFORE THE ONES THAT ORDERED BEFORE YOU.

YOU ARE THE ONE TRYING TO WALK OVER OTHER, NOT HIM..

HE DID NOT LET YOU SO YOU ACCUSED HIM OF BEING RUDE AND DEMAND COMPENSATION AND A GIFT CARD. SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO YOU ENTITLED SPOILED BRAT.

Some people think that they are more important than others. This person should be embarrassed begging for free food because they did not see that she is more important than others. Some people have no shame.

Cyndy Xbn

The only rude one is YOU, if there were six people ahead of you, you have to WAIT YOUR TURN. You are no more important than the others waiting before you.

If you are not going there again, why you want compensation and a gift card? Honestly, if you cannot afford to eat out then stay at home and cook your own food.

Make frozen pizza Visit a soup kitchen. You have entitlement issues and think that they should stop making the pizzas of those ahead of you.

Guest

You sound like a piece of trailer trash Big Girl. You go find another pizza place and feed those feelings. Mmm-kay.

She is trash. She thinks that she should get to cut in line above others who were ahead of her. When they do not suit to her enitlted donkey's bottom, she accuses them of being rude and demands free stuff.

Obviously when she was growing up, her parents always took her side and gave her everything she wanted.

She is used to getting what she wanted. She is used to being spoiled. She is used to being entitled.

She is. Everyone is laughing at how pathetic she is begging for free food.

She probably lives on the streets or a shelter. She gas no shame

Wow, so you cursed at the manager after he told you he could not take your order due to being too busy, then you asked when you could order. This after you had cussed at him!!

What were you thinking? Why would you call a restaurant employee a curse word, get nasty and then expect or even want them to make your food??? If I had curse at a restaurant employee, the last thing I would want is them having access to my food. No gift cards or compensation for you!

Learn how to behave.

These Papa Murphys are all franchises, which means the owner hired this manager. This owner will no doubt "stand his/her ground" and support their manager!

you don't know crap on what happened in there while I was there or what was said or what order! Idk if it was the manager or if it was just a regular employee, I don't deal with rudeness and cool if you let ppl walk all over you or talk to you in any type of way but i will not be talking to like that!

Glad you said what you feel like was going on! :)

Cyndy Xbn

But no one was rude to you. They simply expected you to wait your turn.

You thought that you were so special that you could go ahead of them.

You are NOT entitled to a gift card and compensation , especially since you do not want to go back. You are just looking for a free meal, because you cannot afford to eat out.

Cyndy Xbn
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-2679646

The OP obviously has no manners. I blame her parents for not raising her right.

Now, she is begging for a free meal through compensation and gift cards because she cannot afford to eat out. With her English, no wonder no one hires someone who has failed grade one English. She is not entitled to compensation or a gift card. If she wants free food, she should visit a soup kitchen, or see if her church has a program to help her.

The is entitled and the rude one, she cussed at the manager and she thinks that they should do her order first, even thought she was not there first. Then because this entitled brat did not get her way she asks for a refund and compensation when it was HER not the manager who was rude. We can only blame the parents for how they raised her.

She knows no better. They probably spoiled this brat and gave her everything and anything she wanted.

Put a warning out on social media regarding this store. Company did not bother to return calls.

Bank froze my account after repeated attempts to use it. Issued new card.

Original review Jun 19, 2025

I went in to a Papa Murphy's in Milton Freewater. Ordered a pie with my credit card.

discovered later that the person (male) had stolen my card info and had tried to use it several times. I had to close the account, re-order a card.

I tried to call your corporate office, to file a complaint, which of course dropped me at this option to leave a message. No one, I repeat NO ONE has tried to reach out to me to resolve this issue.

Disappointed in recent purchase.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I work for a large food distributor. I have been buying Papa Murphy pizza for 8 years...no more.

Last pizza I bought was discusting. Too much sauce, smaller and thinner pepperoni, mushrooms are not a large cut but are now diced. Prices have risen with quality decreasing. I feel ripped off.

This was worse than a cheap frozen pizza. Please respond to roybalpaul@***.com.Do not

How could a chain be so bad from one place to the next?

Papa Murphy’s doesn’t care!!!

Original review Jun 06, 2025
We moved to the western slope from Parker Colorado, four years ago. We used to frequent the papa Murphys in Parker at least once a week for several years.

When we came out here, the Clifton location has disappointed us to the point where we wont go back ever. The dough/crust of the pizza is nothing like what you get on the front range. Im not sure if theyre skimping on the ingredients or what theyre doing, but it is apparent that this recipe is completely different. How sad, because now we have lost One of the chains that we used to really enjoy.

I called to get some answers or to at least report that this one location falls way short of what Im sure is corporate protocol for ingredients. But was unable to reach anyone and so now we are just writing This franchise off.

Campbell St. Papa Murphy's Owner Leaving Pot Holes in Driveway Over a Year Now in Springfield, MO

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user May 18, 2025

Papa Murphy's has not responded yet.

Original review May 03, 2025
Subject pretty much sums that part up. There are 3 large potholes when you turn into the business. The biggest issue too is Campbell Street is one of the busiest streets in Springfield, and you need to turn into Papa Murphy's in a fast way to avoid getting hit from the rear. Yes, I have complained as well as a lot of other customers. The owner did put loose gravel in one of the holes, but that's a little on the cheap end of fixing the problem. Also, the business sits on a steep hill, making the drive in to it an issue, with the additional potholes having to slow down so you don't ruin your tires or car with the bump you would entail driving in. If that isn't bad enough, I went to pick up our pizza yesterday to find that the price had increased substantially, and when I got it home I found there were half as many ingredients on top than in the past. It's one thing to understand price increases in this day and time, but to cut way back on ingredients is something else. We've been customers for years of Papa Murphy's and love your pizza, even having to carefully turn into the drive with all the potholes, but when the owner cuts back on ingredients, raises the price of the pizza, and won't fix the drive entrance, we regrettably will have to reconsider keeping patronizing your company. I would definitely blame the owner of this particular Papa Murphy's Pizza for a decline in customers, for sure. The kids that work there are always nice and friendly, whether on the phone or picking the pizza up. They are not to blame for any lack of business, for sure. We sure hope you can influence this owner about our issues because we would like to remain loyal customers.
Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Very upset

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This is not the first time this has happened...we order pizza from Papa Murphys every week. We called to place our order at 7:30p.m.

they ask if i could hold, 10 minutes later, i recalled them, and the line was busy. I drove down there, 20 minutes to 8:00p.m. they had everything cleaned up and put away, and would not take our order...the store in Stanwood Washington, advertises they close at 8:p.m.

their website, right now still says they are open...whats going on? I feel that they should serve until the time they advertise.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased two pizzas and I always get asked for my phone number and when the person rang it up I put my card in and while it was going through I said you didnt take my phone number so I get my points and she told me that it was too late to do that. So I asked her why I could not return them and then re-purchased them, she told me it was too much work to do that, and it would take too much time.

These were her exact her exact words. I am very disappointed in the response that I received from the employee, which I think was a manager, she was very rude and kept staring at me. I usually buy 4 to 6 or more pizzas a month from there and Im not sure now if I will continue to do that. I told her that I knew that I only needed to purchase one more pizza to receive my free pizza, she was very rude in the response to that as well, I told her now that I will not be getting points two extra pizzas that I bought.

Most the time when I go in there, the same person is in there and she looks very unhappy and is very rude to people that are buying pizzas. She may need to be retrained on how to respect people when they are purchasing from your company. Im from Hot Springs Arkansas and that is where I purchased pizzas at. Also, they play music so loud that they have to ask you again what kind of pizza that you want.

I do love your pizza but right now.

Im very frustrated and will not be purchasing at this time, my family will be the very disappointed. Thank you.

Of course people only work there for a job! Would you love to work at Papa Murphy's or any fast food place?

I certainly wouldn't. Although I would have returned the pizzas and re-rang them, just to keep the peace and get things moving along.

I spent $79 on pizzas for our family get-together. The quality of the product I received was very poor.

After baking, it was inedible; 70% dough and 30% ingredients. Both customer service and management refused to give me credit or refund.

I had to buy $65 worth of frozen pizzas to replace the fresh ones I had purchased. I had no proof of purchase because I was a walk-in and paid in-store.
